‘Worship’ - To connect us with the Creator
At JTMC music & worship, we aim to lead our congregation in a life transforming worship experience through music, word, testimonies, singspiration, pro-active participation by members.
Our ministry is led by service leaders, singspiration leaders, PA and Sound System, Bible readers, Pastoral preaching, instrumental by musicians, testimonies, Ushering and active participation by congregation in the worship service. We have an active pull of members who commit their time, talents and prayers to these ministries on a weekly to monthly basis.
Sunday worship Service:
Singspiration is a key part of the service which enables the congregation to unite in one spirit to worship & communicate with God through a good variety of Tamil songs ranging from classical hymns and latest contemporary songs. Our talented musicians also play in a variety of styles to engage the congregation creatively to worship. The variety if songs and musical instruments & styles helps us to continue serving the lord in a spirit of excellence and dedication by giving our best to glorify his name.
Preaching and Prayer:
The pulpit is served & managed by our very own Pastors Stephen Shadrack and
Rev Prabhu on a variety of sermon topics to touch and enrich our souls. Church Prayer, thanksgiving and intercession are also conducted by our Pastors. Pastors also invite external speakers on special occasions & ETAC designated Sundays.
Testimony:
We have a monthly time of testimony for congregation members to testify and share how god has done wonders in their lives to inspire and encourage others meaningfully.
PA & Sound System:
Our PA & Sound system is mended and improved regularly through practice sessions and checks before the service.
Training and Preparation :
We encourage the discovery, equipping and empowerment of new talents in the various areas regularly. Our weekly trainings and practices for choir and musicians with the sound system managers are on Sundays after service & fellowship at 6 to 730pm.Interested musical talents are encouraged and directed to trustable training institutions.
Junior choir :
We have begun a junior choir team made up of singing talents from the age group of 7 to 17. With a trainer, they are equipped with vocal techniques and musical knowledge based on and inspired by Indian Classical music. They mainly learn tamil Christian hymns and cultivate the love for gospel music and tamil language through the singing and studying of hymns.

JTMC family Worship Night
Annual event where our members dedicate a song or dance in groups or families and bond over the music and fellowship with one another.
Worship Team Fellowship
Annual get together of everyone who serves at worship service for a time of thanksgiving, testimony, fellowship and review for improvement.
